Business Office Manager

Nancy Escamilla serves as the Business Office Manager at Avenida Palm Desert. After graduating college with an Associate of Science degree, Nancy focused her energies on the Health Care Industry where her passion for helping others blossomed and thrived. In her current role, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, along with lease processing and collection and oversight of documents. In previous firms, Nancy was the recipient of multiple “Employee of the Year” award for providing quality care and excellent customer service.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, watching football, attending church-related events, and engaging in community service.

Nicole Hay

Community Relations Manager

Nicole Hay serves as the Community Relations Manager for Avenida Palm Desert. She has a strong background in the Events and Public Relations industries. Her involvement in numerous community associations, as well as her time spent serving on several boards, has made her very active in the community. Nicole focuses her time on Avenida Palm Desert’s community outreach and relationship management.

Monica Alvarez

Resident Enrichment Director

As the Resident Enrichment Director at Avenida Palm Desert, Monica is responsible for creating and implementing the 5 to Thrive program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University of San Bernardino and she has seven years of experience working with older adults. Monica is excited to continue her passion for serving seniors and to provide active, creative, and engaging programs for the residents. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, traveling, and spending time with family.

Dennis Hernandez-Perez

Maintenance Director

Dennis Hernandez-Perez is an accomplished maintenance professional with over 20 years of experience. He began his career as a porter and he has worked his way up to Maintenance Director at Avenida Palm Desert, bringing with him great knowledge in all aspects of property maintenance.
